Holiday Tennis Program @ Burleigh Heads

Are you looking for some holiday tennis fun for your son, daughter and/or grandchild, so they can be active, grow social connection and develop their tennis skills?

We have a Holiday Tennis Program at Burleigh Heads State School. The program is run by Jane Taylor. Jane comes with a wealth of experience – both as a coach and as a former professional tennis player. She has a High Performance Tennis Certification with Tennis Australia.

An Overview of Hot Shots –

Hot Shots is for 3-11+ year olds. It has specially designed balls, nets and racquets as well as a program that is designed for young people to develop at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment. The Hot Shot stages range from Blue to Red to Orange to Green.

There are many benefits of tennis and it does depend on your intention for attending a class. Following is a guide to some of the benefits…

Orange Ball – 8-10 Yrs

Date: Wednesday April 3, 2024 (closed)

Time: 9am-11.30am

Cost: $45 direct deposit or $50 credit card / PayPal

Venue: Burleigh Heads State School

What to Bring: Racquet, water, hat and sun protection. Please wear comfortable sports clothing and shoes (i.e. runners).

Orange Ball – 8-10 Yrs

Date: Friday April 5, 2024

Time: 9am-11.30am

Cost: $45 direct deposit or $50 credit card / PayPal

Venue: Burleigh Heads State School

What to Bring: Racquet, water, hat and sun protection. Please wear comfortable sports clothing and shoes (i.e. runners).

Q. What Do I Need to Bring to My Lesson?

A. We encourage you to bring your own racquet, water, hat and sun protection.

Q. What Happens if I Don’t Have a Racquet?

A. It would be much easier if you did have a tennis racquet and we will have starter packs available. The starter pack will include an age appropriate sized racquet.!

Q. What Happens if it Rains?

A. Great question! If it rains, you will be offered another session or receive a refund. Some people may also choose to put the payment towards their term fees.

Q. What Happens If My Child Doesn’t Have a Racquet?

A. It would be much easier if you did have a tennis racquet and we will have starter packs available. The starter pack will include an age appropriate sized racquet.

Q. What Does My Son / Daughter Need to Bring to the Lesson?

A. We encourage all young people to bring their own racquet, water, hat and sun protection.
