Following are the Terms and Conditions for Tennis Coaching Services offered at Habits for Wellbeing.
The dates for Term 1, 2025 are January 28 – March 21, 2025. However, if there is wet weather, term dates will be extended a week or two depending on number of washouts
Commitment…
When you register for tennis coaching at Burleigh Heads State School (BHSS), it is for commitment to the term (8 weeks). There are no refunds (only exception is with broken bones).
Term By Term…
When you register for tennis coaching at Burleigh Heads State School (BHSS), it is on a term by term basis.
Wet Weather…
We run our term for 8 weeks, so if there is rain we have two spare weeks to make up those lessons.
If there is wet weather, we will let you know via TEXT message, so please make sure you give the correct mobile number when joining.
Make up lessons must be done within that school term. Make up lessons DO NOT roll over in to the following term and are NOT deducted from term fees.
Sickness…
24 hours notice is required for students who are not able to attend their lesson due to sickness. There are a MAXIMUM of 2 make-up lessons per student/session per term.
Parents must arrange make up lessons with Jane AT LEAST 24 hours in advance (via text message).
Make up lessons must be done within that school term. Make up lessons DO NOT roll over in to the following term and are NOT deducted from term fees.
Medical Conditions…
Before signing up to the tennis lessons, you agree to share any medical information that may impact on your son and/or daughter’s participant in their tennis and also keep the coach updated if this changes.
Before Lesson Pick-up @ School…
All students need to make their own way to the tennis courts and we will start at 3.15pm.
After Tennis Lesson Pick-up…
Each young person’s parent / guardian is expected to be there 5 minutes before the lesson finishes. Who is the parent / guardian? You are as you are the person who signed them up for the tennis lesson. If there is a different person who will be picking them up from the tennis court, please let me know via text, so I am aware…
Watching the Tennis Lesson…
Parents, caregivers and guardians are more than welcome to watch the tennis lesson. I do ask if you can please watch and support and remember it is the students’ tennis adventure of learning to play tennis.
Tennis Racquets…
Each student is expected to have their own tennis racquet. I know the majority of people already have tennis racquets though.
Holiday Clinics…
Yes we will be having holiday clinics, as soon as we know the dates we will let you know.
Payment Process…
Payment by Invoice…
To help us save on credit card fees (yes we are a small business) – we would really appreciate it if you could pay via direct deposit. So if this works for you, BEFORE filling out the form, please e-mail us and we will give you a code to use for this registration and then send you an invoice to pay.
